Apple is making a couple of major changes to its iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max in the past year. Comparison to Older Models
Apple is making iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max look not much different than the previous year’s iPhones, and has slimmer bezels around their gorgeous large displays. That makes them more comfortable and ergonomic be held, but the larger phones weigh more.
The most significant difference is the addition of the A17 Pro chip on the Pro models. This chip offers around 10% higher performance compared to the earlier chips. This is mainly thanks to the 3nm manufacturing process however, it is also due to microarchitectural and design improvements.
The Pro models also have certain features only available to them, like USB-C connectivity for greater speed of transfer. This allows ProRes to be recorded directly onto external storage devices, which could be popular with video makers. Its TrueDepth front camera comes with certain improvements, and it can produce 4K video at 60fps to allow HDR streaming on devices that are not connected to the internet. Also, there’s the brand new Digital AV Multiport Adapter which allows users to connect HDMI monitors as well as standard USB devices.

The chips offer major improvements in graphics and performance that will also aid with battery life a bit. Also, the Titanium chassis is a nice upgrade, too. It will make these phones stronger.
A further change as part of one of the iPhone 15 Pro models is the elimination of the Lightning port. This was replaced with a USB-C port. The USB-C port is an excellent choice since it boosts the speed of data transfers dramatically.

Its A17 Pro chip also adds boosted neural processing for better lighting and speedier motion capture. In addition, it is compatible with Augmented Reality features, such as AR games and apps which use depth mapping for improved object tracking.
The other significant changes includes the upgrade to USB-C (it has a reversible connector that allows you to plug in any standard USB device) it offers higher data transfer speeds, and an Action button that replaces the mute switch featuring haptic feedback and customized actions.
